Siam Country Club – Waterside

This 18-hole course was designed by IMG Golf Course Design, one of the world-renowned golf course architects and experts in world sport and event management. Environmental waste areas and straightforward holes are the emphasis of the majority of these 18 holes, with an esthetic beauty give the Waterside design a distinct difference from the famous Old Course and Plantation.

The 7,439-yard course plays around two large lakes with wide fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and undulating greens. The course features gently sloping terrains, making it different from the hillier Old Course or Plantation layouts. Home to several championships including the 2022 Woman’s Amateur Asia Pacific Championship sponsored by the R&A, Waterside is a true championship golf club and includes a modern clubhouse and a first-class pro shop.

Siam Country Club – Old Course

Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course is one of Thailand’s top courses and is well known around the world for hosting the prestigious Honda LPGA Thailand every spring. This par72, 7,068 yards 18-hole course was originally created by Japanese designer I. Izumi back in 1970. It was then completely renovated in 2007 by Mr. Lee Schmidt of Schmidt-Curley Design Inc. who brought it up to international championship standards. The project included newly refurbished facilities. The long history of the club ensured the continuing maturity of the golf course. Some of the trees were removed allowing for an excellent breeze. A popular grass, Seashore Paspalum, was chosen for the fairways, and Novotek for the greens. In addition, the 101 bunkers are there for beauty and challenges for all golfers alike. The Old Course has continued to win numerous awards and was voted 73rd best golf course in the World by USA Golf Digest magazine

Siam Country Club – Plantation

With an investment of over 18 million US dollars, this 27-hole golf course opened in 2008 and is known as Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation. The golf courses were designed by a well know Arizona-based course architects, Schmidt & Curley Design Inc. The “Plantation” name was given in the honor of the historic Sugar Cane, Tapioca, and Pineapple plantations that were once there, and each 9-hole is named accordingly. It didn’t take long for this layout, about four kilometers from the Siam Country Old Course, to attract a major event. Exactly one year after opening in 2008, it served as the site of the LPGA Thailand, won by world No.1 Lorena Ochoa. Since then, many local and international tournaments including the Thailand Open have been hosted here. The 11,133-yard layout offers some wonderful rolling terrain, with significant elevation changes, wide fairways, giant bunkers, and several undulating greens. A very challenging but enjoyable 27 holes.

Siam Country Club – Rolling Hills

Unique, distinct, and different is our fourth golf course within the group, called Siam Country Club Pattaya Rolling Hills. As is the case with all Siam Country Club courses, the 7,267-yard layout is a core design with no real estate elements. Far removed from many of the rugged and natural designs in fashion today, Rolling Hills’s design is a hybrid of traditional elements and natural courses of the past.

Stunning visuals and optional lines of attack in a risk-reward setting create very memorable holes. Many holes have an abundance of centerline hazards that create strategic and visual excitement. Large waste areas planted with casuarina trees that become pine straw forests, waste bunkers, marshlands, lotus pools, and lakes are the beautiful features of the golf course.

The course’s signature hole is their 15the, known as the “Wall of Death”. It is a par 5, uphill, and double zig-zag fairway with the green guarded by a 19-foot pit bunker. The final hole, No. 18 wraps around the lake to another masterpiece clubhouse of Siam Country Club. A very worthy addition to the Siam Country Club’s traditions.
